 APR Building Strategies & Reserve Planning is proud to announce a strategic alliance that has allowed us to expand our services through the acquisition of a company specializing in depreciation reports. With this exciting growth, we remain committed to helping strata corporations in British Columbia and Alberta navigate recent legislative changes.

The new laws in British Columbia require all strata corporations to obtain a mandatory depreciation report by 2026 for the Lower Mainland and by 2027 for other areas. In response to these changes, and based on feedback from our clients, we are offering free Building Envelope Condition Assessments (BECAs) to the first 200 stratas that sign up for our subscription plan. This offer extends to Alberta clients as well, who will receive the same report deadlines as our BC clients.

All of our reports are signed off by Certified Reserve Planners, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements for depreciation report writers as mandated by the new British Columbia legislation. This means your strata will be in full compliance, with reports prepared by professionals qualified to provide the highest standard of capital reserve planning.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Eligibility: This offer is available to new clients or those upgrading to the subscription plan. The free BECA is limited to one per strata corporation.
  • Geographic Scope: Available to stratas in British Columbia and Alberta.
  • Subscription Commitment: The subscription must continue for at least five years, with automatic renewal at the end of each term. Clients are required to stay in contract for five years after each report is submitted.
  • Payment Terms: Monthly payments begin immediately upon signing up, and the report for BC clients will be delivered by the legal deadlines (July 1, 2026, for Lower Mainland BC, July 1, 2027, for other areas, and similar timelines for Alberta). Clients who cancel early will be required to pay the remaining balance of the five-year term in a lump sum.
  • Report Delivery & BECA: The BECA will be provided at the same or similar time as the depreciation report and is valid only for the building’s envelope condition. The assessment does not include other reports or services, such as mechanical or structural evaluations.
  • Offer Expiry: The promotion is valid only until the first 200 sign-ups or [specific date], whichever comes first.
  • Payment Failure: Missed payments may result in termination of the contract and require the full remaining balance to be paid immediately.

This limited-time offer ensures that stratas in both BC and Alberta are equipped to meet regulatory requirements while benefiting from professional, certified reserve planning services.
